MERMAID is an independent institution set up to identify and finance pioneering, international projects in gynaecological cancer research.

MERMAID’s prime objective is to identify methods which, over a 10-year period, will have the potential to reduce mortality from gynaecological cancer (cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and uterine cancer) by up to 50%.

All projects are carefully selected by independent, leading researchers, who also perform an annual research audit. The projects are absolutely pioneering and of a high international nature.
