MERMAID - STEERING COMMITTEE
MERMAID consists of a voluntary steering committee and an advisory committee with the common aim of promoting efforts to prevent cancer of the womb.
The MERMAID I research is lead by Professor Susanne Krüger Kjær, M.D., DMSc. from the Copenhagen University Hospital/The Danish Cancer Society, Claus Høgdall, M.D., DMSc. from the Copenhagen University Hospital and Jan Blaakær, M.D., DMSc. from Skejby Hospital in co-operation with Professor Ian Jacobs from University College London.
The MERMAID II – cervical cancer – research into biological and genetic markers. The scientific leader of MERMAID II is Professor Susanne Krüger Kjær, M.D., DMSc. from The Danish Cancer Society/Copenhagen University Hospital. The team also consists of Professor Thomas Iftner from University of Tübingen, Germany and Dr. Simon Gayther from University College London.
